About Walt Koop

I have been involved with EKMHA since 2009 when I was elected to the board and have been chair for the last 1½ years. I have always been very interested in genealogy and somewhat in history. In order to help cover the rental fee, we have opened a coffee shop, offer travelogues, and Russian Mennonite, Amish and Swiss history classes. We collect family journals for our archives. I am working on a website committee to launch a new site shortly. I hope to encourage people to ask questions and see the importance of preserving our culture and Mennonite Heritage.
