Coming Events: December 2013

  • The Advent season can be a time for reflection, an appreciation for times past, and the anticipation of things to come. The center is open every morning – consider coming out for a tour, or bring your children and grandchildren out to the museum to see what life was like, and how Mennonites from this area have come through their seasons in history!
  • On December 2, the EKMHA board will host an appreciation dinner for volunteers who have helped over the year. It will be a small way to say thank you to those who lighten the load with their service!
  • On December 10, students from UMEI will be in to conduct more interviews with our local historians
  • Look for more information on Travelogues in January. Mark your calendars for January 17 with Sonja Bergen Kuli (British Isles) and January 31 with Ed and Helen Brown (Ireland)
  • Also coming in February 2014: Annual Super Soup Night on February 15 at UMEI.  Details to come!
