Collections

EKMHA’s physical collection is housed in the Mennonite Heritage Centre in Leamington, Ontario and contains many historical artifacts including musical instruments, clothing, kitchen tools, farm tools, and texts in many languages including German, Plattdeutsch/Low German, Russian, and English.

Visit during regular hours or contact us to arrange an appointment to view these items.

You can also view EKMHA’s online repository and exhibit space at http://www.ekmha.ca/collections. This repository a work-in-progress filled with items from EKMHA’s archive and collection that have been digitized and published in order to preserve and share the histories of the Mennonites of Essex and Kent Counties in Ontario, Canada.
