About Our Footprints

Footprint and the word "home" drawn into beach sand. A wave is getting close. Footprints…what are footprints?  When I hear this word I see the poem “Footprints”, in my mind, or other footprints along the beach disappearing when the waves wash over them, or many footprints in the snow where children have been playing and which disappear with new snowflurries.

Here, at this place, we have decided that the posts under this heading should include examples of traditional Mennonite culture that exists in the Essex Kent communities, and of how Mennonites have influenced these communities.

These may also be in danger of disappearing over time if not archived by someone.  So here we will be posting informative and historical stories, also personal footprints perhaps sent in by our readers.
