On November 23, 2012, Linda and Hugo Tiessen presented a travelogue about their travels to Greece, Germany, and Hungary. Afterwards, visitors shared coffee and snacks in the Heritage Centre.

On December 3, 2012 EKMHA hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the Heritage Centre at 31 Pickwick Avenue. The celebration was enjoyed by all 56 invited guests.
